Luna Lovegood Halloween Costume

 Cardigan- Hot Topic
Shirt- Thrifted
Tie- Etsy
Shoes-Gifted
Glasses- Amazon
Wand- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

I have wanted to dress up as Luna Lovegood for Halloween for years!! She is my absolute favorite character ever! I love her personality, and of course her style. I decided to do something like a school uniform here. She wears something very similar in the films.

When I tell people I'm a Ravenclaw, and they aren't as in love with Harry Potter as I am, and they ask me which house that is, I always say it's Luna's house...and they always say, "Yeah. That makes sense. You're like her!"
My husband said I was like a bad-ass Luna Lovegood yesterday while helping me do the video and pictures, and I feel like that's an accurate description.

I love this Ravenclaw cardigan! I am for sure going to get a ton of use out of it.
And that last pic...It looks like there's a blue tint on it, but that's actually from a blue smoke bomb. I'm getting so much better at using those! Finally! The first time I tried doing a shoot with one I thought I was dying because I couldn't breathe. I still feel that way. But now I know it's only for about 40 seconds. :D

Grim Reaper Halloween Makeup and Costume

The Grim Reaper

This is my second look for Halloween this year.
I thought a girl Grim Reaper would be a really cool look, and why not a Grim Reaper who cares about fashion?? This one was so fun!
I'm wearing a simple tank top with a skirt I bought super cheap from a thrift store. The jacket is Ralph Lauren and shoes were gifted.
All of the necklaces are from an online shop called Dysfunctional Dolls.

I used a smoke bomb for this look! I really love using those during Halloween time! I love how dark this costume is. I'm a sucker for black! And the necklaces are super amazing! There's a spider choker, a bat necklace, and a coffin necklace.

More Halloween looks coming soon!

Betty and Jughead Costumes (Riverdale)

Betty
Sweater- Burlignton Coat Factory (DIY'd the detail on it)
Pants-Burlington Coat Factory
Shoes-Hot Topic

I've gotten pretty into Riverdale, just like the rest of the world!
I was a little late to this party, but when I started liking it I had the idea that I could be Betty and Jason could be Jughead for Halloween, and the idea stuck!
I think this is Betty's most memorable sweater (she has a lot of sweaters).  Since the second season of Riverdale is coming up fast, I figured now was a great time to show off these looks!

Jughead
 Jacket-Forever21
Beanie- Etsy

I am seriously in love with the character Jughead, and Cole Sprouse does an amazing job with the part. I wanted his beanie, and now I have one, but Jason thinks it's his...it's not!!

There's a full makeup tutorial and sweater DIY on my YouTube for this look if you want a really affordable option to be this character.

Spooky Outfit's!

Let's Sacrifice Toby!

It's almost Spooky season, and I always get really into the Halloween spirit! To kick things off this season I decided to show off some of my creepy clothing items. This top comes from Wicked Clothes. This website does a bunch of creepy, dark humor shirts that I love!! Don't worry, I don't know any Toby's. :D
I paired the shirt with my favorite heels ever! They have little hearts on them, and the red pop really goes with the top.

Not Normal

This sweater is from Lazy Oaf, one of my favorite brands ever! The skirt and shoes are from Rue21.
I just love this sweater. It's a velvet texture, which makes it super comfy. It definitely is for cooler, fall weather. And hey! Happy Fall!!!

Skulls & Roses

I'm not sure if this one counts as creepy, but there is skulls, so I say it counts!! This dress came from Hot Topic, but I'm not sure if they sell this particular one anymore, but they do have similar ones. I'm wearing one of my favorite lipstick's here: MAC's 'Cyber'.
It's a really deep plum color that I am all about!!

Normal People Scare Me

Normal People Scare Me is a phrase that came from American Horror Story. Tate from the first season wears it on a shirt, and I've loved it ever since I saw it, and just recently bought this sweater. I'm totally obsessed with American Horror Story, so I'm really happy with it.
Fair warning though, it's way too hot in AZ to be wearing this outside right now. I was burning up!

I thought I'd do this blogpost to accompany a LookBook video I did over on YouTube for an explanation of all the outfits.

Who's ready for Halloween???

Thrift OOTD (Halloween Costume?)

Tank-Old Navy
Dress-Thrifted
Shoes-Converse
Headband-Burlington Coat Factory

I haven't been on my blog in a while!
I do most of my fashion-y stuff over on YouTube now, but I thought I'd come back over here for a quick OOTD!

I went into Goodwill the other day, and the shelves were full of Halloween stuff! And for some reason there was a whole rack of these dresses...in the Halloween section. I think I might be missing something, but I liked this dress enough to wear it on days that are not Halloween.
:D

I could see it working for a scarecrow costume or a doll costume, and I might use it for that too, but I think it's a cute piece!

I paired it with converse and a sunflower headband.
Really keeping with the childlike theme.

Now the question is...am I 6 years old or 26 years old???

:D :D :D

Don't Bother OOTD (Docs & Lazy Oaf)

 Dress-Lazy Oaf
Shoes-DrMartens

This past weekend we took a little trip to Flagstaff, which is one of my favorite places on this planet! It has the best coffee shops, vibes, and people.

We did a bit of shopping, and drank all the coffee, of course.

I wore this sweater dress because it's a bit cooler in Flagstaff, unlike where I live, where it feels like hell itself.
I love the saying 'Don't Bother' although I keep telling my husband I need to add 'Me' to it. Haha!

And the pink Docs have been a staple in my wardrobe lately. I love them sooo much! I am the biggest fan of Docs and never thought I would have a gorgeous pink pair, but the website Dolls Kill had them and I snatched them up!

Can we talk about the jumping pic for a sec?? Those never work out for me! I always look super weird, but I think this one turned out! YAY!!
