December Favorites

Christmas is over, but cheer up! There's still so much life to look forward to!
But for now let's look back on what I loved during the month of December:

Apple Cider Scented Candle
Beanies

I've been wearing beanies a lot this month because it keeps my head nice and warm and comfy. The gold nail polish is gorgeous as a top coat, and I've been using it for a nice Christmas touch to my nails.
And the blush is amazing! So pigmented and it has those darker shades for winter. Lastly, the eyeshadow book. It has every color I could ever need in a compact holder that I can pop in my purse or travel bag. Oh, but don't forget the candle! Yummy smells for days!

What have you been loving this month?

OOTD: Christmas!

Merry (almost) Christmas everyone!!!
I took a trip to Flagstaff, Arizona recently with my husband and it was such a wonderful trip. I was feeling extremely festive in this outfit while walking around and shopping for Christmas presents. Lots of people loved my sweater and it was so nice spending the day in the cold with a giant Christmas tree.
Because there was a big one. And I totally felt like Buddy The Elf. :)

I've got to say, finally finding a yellow scarf really made my day! Thank you Flagstaff for always having everything I need!

Also, this outfit was featured in my White Winter Lookbook if you'd like to check it out.

OOTD: White Winter Hymnal

I was following the pack, all swallowed in their coats
With scarves of red tied 'round their throats

To keep their little heads from falling in the snow, and I turned 'round and there you go
And Michael, you would fall and turn the white snow red as strawberries in the summertime

A Thousand Wishes Body Butter Review

The other day I popped into Bath & Body Works and gave everything a good sniff. I wanted to find the perfect scented holiday lotion (or bubble bath or candle or whatever else Bath & Body Works has).
And I found it.
I'm very picky about what I put on my body, which I think is pretty understandable. Right when I smelled this I knew it was the one! Although, I'm not sure how to describe it. It says the scent is pink prosecco, sparkling quince, crystal peonies, gilded amber, and amaretto creme. That's all fancy talk for it smells freaking good. I really think that's what the back of it should say.

I've never tried the body butter from Bath & Body Works, but it's amazing! Super thick and moisturizing. If you have any dry areas of skin I would suggest this. I don't have too much of a problem with that, but I love being nice and soft and smelling good.

This product came in at a whopping $15.00. I'm not sure if that's well priced. I think most of the prices are a bit on the expensive side. That being said, would I buy it again? You betcha.

What's your favorite Bath & Body Works scent and product?

DIY Hot Chocolate!

 Recipe:
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup Hershy's Cocoa
Dash Salt
1/3 cup hot water
4 cups milk
3/4 tsp. vanilla extract

1. Mix sugar, cocoa, and salt in saucepan.
2. Stir in water.
3. Stir over medium heat until it boils.
4. Stir in milk and heat (don't boil).
5. Add vanilla & remove from heat.

I cut this recipe in half because I was making it for just myself. It makes quite a lot, but if you're making it for more than one or two people, then I would do the full recipe.

It really is the most delicious hot chocolate ever! During Christmas time it is a must have, and it's super easy to make.

Pop some whip cream, marshmallows, and a candy cane in it, and you're good to go!

Do you have any special drinks you make this time of year?

OOTD: Sweater Weather

Beanie-Kmart

Knee Highs-*Kushyfoot
Shoes-Forever21

I went to a very popular park here in my town for these pics, and whoa! There were a billion families taking Christmas photos and then there was me all by myself. I think people may have thought I was a very lonely person taking Christmas pics. Ah, well. At least I looked cute while doing it! :D
I love sweaters. Especially sweaters with little penguins. It's just adorable. Throw it over a dress, and that's what I call an outfit. I think the hat works just right with it, and the knee highs were a must.
