Spooky Outfit's!

Let's Sacrifice Toby!

It's almost Spooky season, and I always get really into the Halloween spirit! To kick things off this season I decided to show off some of my creepy clothing items. This top comes from Wicked Clothes. This website does a bunch of creepy, dark humor shirts that I love!! Don't worry, I don't know any Toby's. :D
I paired the shirt with my favorite heels ever! They have little hearts on them, and the red pop really goes with the top.

Not Normal

This sweater is from Lazy Oaf, one of my favorite brands ever! The skirt and shoes are from Rue21.
I just love this sweater. It's a velvet texture, which makes it super comfy. It definitely is for cooler, fall weather. And hey! Happy Fall!!!

Skulls & Roses

I'm not sure if this one counts as creepy, but there is skulls, so I say it counts!! This dress came from Hot Topic, but I'm not sure if they sell this particular one anymore, but they do have similar ones. I'm wearing one of my favorite lipstick's here: MAC's 'Cyber'.
It's a really deep plum color that I am all about!!

Normal People Scare Me

Normal People Scare Me is a phrase that came from American Horror Story. Tate from the first season wears it on a shirt, and I've loved it ever since I saw it, and just recently bought this sweater. I'm totally obsessed with American Horror Story, so I'm really happy with it.
Fair warning though, it's way too hot in AZ to be wearing this outside right now. I was burning up!

I thought I'd do this blogpost to accompany a LookBook video I did over on YouTube for an explanation of all the outfits.

Who's ready for Halloween???

Thrift OOTD (Halloween Costume?)

Tank-Old Navy
Headband-Burlington Coat Factory

I haven't been on my blog in a while!
I do most of my fashion-y stuff over on YouTube now, but I thought I'd come back over here for a quick OOTD!

I went into Goodwill the other day, and the shelves were full of Halloween stuff! And for some reason there was a whole rack of these the Halloween section. I think I might be missing something, but I liked this dress enough to wear it on days that are not Halloween.

I could see it working for a scarecrow costume or a doll costume, and I might use it for that too, but I think it's a cute piece!

I paired it with converse and a sunflower headband.
Really keeping with the childlike theme.

Now the question I 6 years old or 26 years old???

:D :D :D

Don't Bother OOTD (Docs & Lazy Oaf)

 Dress-Lazy Oaf

This past weekend we took a little trip to Flagstaff, which is one of my favorite places on this planet! It has the best coffee shops, vibes, and people.

We did a bit of shopping, and drank all the coffee, of course.

I wore this sweater dress because it's a bit cooler in Flagstaff, unlike where I live, where it feels like hell itself.
I love the saying 'Don't Bother' although I keep telling my husband I need to add 'Me' to it. Haha!

And the pink Docs have been a staple in my wardrobe lately. I love them sooo much! I am the biggest fan of Docs and never thought I would have a gorgeous pink pair, but the website Dolls Kill had them and I snatched them up!

Can we talk about the jumping pic for a sec?? Those never work out for me! I always look super weird, but I think this one turned out! YAY!!

Alice in Wonderland Inspired Outfits!

“But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."

I have loved Alice In Wonderland for a very long time! I even collect different editions of the book, so I have an abundance of Alice's sitting on my shelf. I LOVE IT!
On my YouTube I've done a Harry Potter LookBook and an American Horror Story Lookbook, and I thought it was Alice's turn!

For the first outfit I was inspired by the blue dress. I modernized it with the converse and ribbon around the waist, and of course, you can't go wrong with those sunflower cat ears.
The tea party is such an iconic scene I wanted to include a teapot, which I got from a thrift store I believe.

The Queen Of Hearts

"Well, the fact is, Miss,
We planted the white roses by mistake,
The Queen she likes 'em red
If she saw white instead,
She'd raise a fuss
And each of us
Would quickly lose his head"

Dress-Hot Topic
Jacket-Lazy Oaf

The Queen of Hearts is one of my favorites. I love how crazy she is. Painting the roses red is one of the best scenes in the movie I think, so I took all the inspiration from that.
From the giant rose and red paint bucket to the 'You Used To Be Weird' jacket.
Can we take a moment for that jacket. Holy. Moly. I think it was made for me! What a gorgeous piece of work!
And the pink shoes! I know. I know. But she's a RED Queen. Yeah, but this is my version of her. This outfit was definitely the funnest to shoot.

Vintage Alice

"Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality.”

Choker/Necklace-Hot Topic

So...Hot Topic came out with a vintage style dress for a few different Disney movies, and Alice was one of them. And that was that. I had to have it.
The print on the bottom with the Alice In Wonderland story on it is so gorgeous.
The floral heels look very vintage to me. Does anyone remember the flowers in Alice who sing? There's the inspiration. :D

You can't see it, but the blue choker says 'Time For Tea' and the necklace is tea cups. Hot topic know's how to do Alice In Wonderland right!

What's your favorite Disney movie? I'm dying to know!
